Totopo Salad

Enchiladas de Otoño

NOM! I really hope this dish becomes a more regular feature. I've been eating at Tapatio regularly since I moved to Newcastle, 5 years ago. This is one of the best items I've ever had. The vegan cashew habanero cream sauce is INCREDIBLE!

Combinacion Uno

The combination Uno was a phenomenal dish, I especially liked the taco along with the rice and beans. The combination Uno was by far one of my favorite dishes that I've ever eaten.

Cabo Chimi

I grew up having chimichangas every Friday with my grandmother in Arizona. I realize it's just a dish but it brings back a lot of happy memories of those times with her. This one is a creative and delicious spin on the traditional beef chimichanga because it utilizes seafood. I really enjoyed it a lot and highly recommend it if you life seafood. It's also combined with Tapatio's delicious sauce (I believe a chipotle sauce) for a very unique dish. I think you'll like it. I did.

Burrito Loco

I've been coming to Tapitio's since I was 5 years old. It's my favorite comfort food restaurant. I moved to NJ for four years and always came to Tapitio's on my visits back. I always order the same burrito and they've got the most delicious beans. I also love the new outdoor set up for the Covid summers.

Enchiladas de Otoño

FANTASTIC! My wife doesn't eat meat or dairy, so she typically misses out on a lot of interesting dishes because of one or two signature ingredients--like the cream habanero sauce on other items here. But this, with the vegan-friendly habanero sauce and the other veggie-centric ingredients, doesn't taste like a meat enchilada with substitutions--it was designed this way, and it's great. The fillings were really tasty, and there's enough heat to notice, but it isn't overbearing. We really hope that this (or at least the sauce) stays on the regular menu.

Carnitas Michocan

To say that these are the best carnitas is Washington would be an understatement. These delicious tacos come packed with meat and full of flavor. I love them and they have been my go-to order. I've even recommended them to friends.
